Verna was lovely lady and a blessing to all who had the privilege to know her. She was missed when she retired from volunteering. She always asked about my husband and animal children. She was very interested in the recovery of my horse when he had suffered a leg injury and would ask for updates and give me encouragement. You had to smile when you saw her. She was a joy to know and talk to, a lift on a not so good day. Always upbeat, caring, loved life, the Lord and all of us. I strive to be like her. God bless her family!
