Verna was truly a special lady. She touched so many people's lives with her sweet gentleness. She was a ray of sunshine to anyone she encountered. Because she was always genuinely interested in how my family and I were doing, I often told Verna she was a Saint and that many people would miss her when she was no longer here on Earth among us. She would shyly smile and reply, "No, no, I don't do much." I am Blessed this dear lady was a good friend for many years and that I saw her often at church and at GVH. I will really miss Verna. May God Bless and comfort your family. Hang on to your good memories of Verna. That's what I will do.
