Rick considered the Thanksgiving holiday a time to connect w/ cherished friends and loving family as well as an opportunity to spend the greater part of the day creating feasts to savor and share. It was never too early for meal preparations and never too late for masterpiece sandwich construction. Rick thought November was a good month to count blessings, prepare for blizzards and dream of extended trips to Hawaii. Checking hurricane forecasts was just part of the deal to assure great surfing conditions. We thought the Thanksgiving Eve church services were not only spectacular but the perfect chance to contemplate our baptisms, as though the occured just yesterday, their significance even more powerful today. If you are going to venture out for a deer hunt please be safe and take less experienced hunters along. One never knows when an extraordinary teachable moment will present itself. Happy Thanksgiving!
