I remember as a little girl, when Rose would babysit me in the summer, Uncle Clair was still living at home.  He came home from work one day & I asked him if he would wait until I grew up so he could marry me.  I don't remember what his reply was, probably something tactful for my little girl crush.  I was very disappointed when he married you, Aunt Alice, but he did make a very good choice.
