Clair went to Potter County deer hunting for many many years with a group of old friends . He would usually be picked up by us and we would then meet the others in the group for breakfast and proceed on our journey northward. One year he forgot his hunting license and of course didn't figure that out until opening morning. So every year after that while loading his gear in our car we would get on him over and over again and say to him you sure you have your hunting license . He always took it like a champ and just laughed it off . I can also remember that his daughter Dee's birthday would almost always fall during this time of year and how he would call home(not an easy feat back in the day) and make sure he would wish her happy birthday. May you rest in peace my friend and join those who have gone before you in that hunting camp above.
