Beatrice Elaine Schoen, of Venice, Florida, formerly a long-time resident of Sellersville, Perkasie, and Telford, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, in Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood, Florida. She was 90.

She was the wife of the late Heinrich “Henry” Schoen until his death in 1996.

Born in Hatfield, she was the daughter of the late James and Cora (Bader) Miller.

Most recently, Elaine had been employed at the former Fireside Card and Gift Shop, of Perkasie. Over the years, she had also worked at the former Lemmon Pharmaceuticals, of Sellersville, and the former Sunlite Shoppe, of Souderton.

Elaine was a lifetime member of Peace Tohickon Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

Active for many years with the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post 255 Auxiliary, Sellersville, Elaine was also a member of the Women of the Moose, Sellersville Moose Lodge 1539, and the Keelersville Club, Perkasie.

A long-time volunteer in the Grand View Hospital gift shop, Elaine had received a special award recognizing her many hours of devoted service. After her relocation to Florida in 2012, Elaine had volunteered with the Sarasota Rescue Gift Shop for four years.

In her free time, Elaine had particularly enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and solving word puzzles.

Mrs. Schoen is survived by two sisters, Linda Statuti, of Venice, FL and Carolyn Schaffer, of Quakertown; a brother, Robert Miller, and his wife, Jeanette, of Sellersville; a step-son, Peter Schoen; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by many siblings.

A visitation will be held from 10-11am, Saturday, April 10, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. A graveside service will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.
