Eleanora was a very good neighbor and friend. She was also a contributor in the Community. She and BIll Barndt were responsible for creating the original zoning ordinances for our community that had considerable impact on the Community we have today and going forward. Eleanor and I presented a proposal to our Supervisory Board for creating the West Rockhill Historical Society at a time I had just been elected to that Board. The Board approved and appointed her as permanent Chairperson. She was very active in this organization until her recent departing us to the place of no dawnings and no sunsets ! She was an early participant of the Community Open Space activity and conserved her property early in the expansion of this activity. In addition Eleanora was recognized for her many contribution to the Community by the Board of Supervisors when they directed her name be placed on the brass plaque located in the Administrative Building Ppublic meeting room for all who enter to observe and remember. That plaque recognizes and honors those Outstanding Citizens of West Rockhill Township Community. Eleanor will be missed, but not forgotten for her many contributions and friendships forged in our Community. God Bless !
