Obituary for Lorraine M. (Stoudt) Tamburino

Lorraine M. (Stoudt) Tamburino
Lorraine M. Tamburino, 82, of Telford, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was the beloved wife of the late Armando “Norman” Tamburino until his death in 2004.

Born in Almont, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Erma (Wambold) Stoudt.

Mrs. Tamburino was a homemaker.

Lorraine was a member of Valley View Bible Church, Telford. She had formerly been a member of and taught Sunday school for many years at Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville, where she had also been a church-time worker for 40 years.

A talented cook, Lorraine was known for her delicious ham and potato salad. She enjoyed collecting antiques, frequently exhibiting pieces from her extensive collections at the Sellersville Museum. She also enjoyed going to Lancaster. Her strong faith was evidenced by the joy she received in distributing Gospel tracts.

Always happy with a sunny smile on her face, Lorraine especially loved Christmas.

Mrs. Tamburino is survived by her five children: Lizabeth Leinmiller and her husband, John, of Barnegat, NJ; Bonnie Fronheiser and her husband, Ron, of Quakertown; Michael Tamburino and his wife, Sherry, of Pennsburg; David Tamburino and his wife, Karen, of Souderton; and Lorraine Costanzo, of Quakertown; eight grandchildren: Dale Renner; Jason Tamburino; William Costanzo; Michael Tamburino; Christopher Fronheiser; David Costanzo; Michele Fronheiser; and Ashley Tamburino; and six great-grandchildren: Dalton Renner; Derek Mease; Dylan Tamburino; Michael Jacob Tamburino; Caden Renner; and Trent Miskiv.

Lorraine is also survived by four brothers: Paul Stoudt and his wife, Esther, of Souderton; Ray Stoudt and his wife, Joan, of Souderton; Richard Stoudt and his wife, Mary, of Bechtelsville; and Harold Stoudt, of Telford.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stoudt; a sister, Dorothy Stoudt; and a son-in-law, William Costanzo.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012, in Valley View Bible Church, 315 Barndt Road, Telford, PA 18969. Family and friends may call Saturday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be conducted in Trinity U.C.C. Cemetery, Telford.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Valley View Bible Church, at the address above, or to The Sellersville Museum, 140 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960 or Bethel Baptist Church, 754 East Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
