My Coworker/Friend

I was a coworker at PHS with Lisa but most importantly I was privileged to call her my friend.  There were some days we did not always agree our political views could cause some heated discussions at lunch.  But we shared one common thing, our love for our families.  There was not a day that went by that we did not share a story of our husbands or our children.  Lisa would share of the stories of her and Bob kayaking, how he planned the trip to the beach, her surpirse birthday party, or of their trip to Key West that she FINALLY had taken this past winter! She enjoyed the times they had spent together.  Of course Lisa enjoyed sharing the stories of how proud she was of Kylie and Brian.  We are all moms and that was always the topics of our lunch conversations.  We heard how proud she was of Kylie and her art job on the cruise lines and how excited she was for Kylie to get to see the world.  She was always so proud of Kylie's artistic abilities as Lisa had that talent and shared that many times to decorate our Room #105.  Brian your mom shared with us the stories from your Phildadelphia teaching job.  It definitely made our jobs look easy.  She worried about you but she always knew your future was going to be amazing.  She loved her family and of course her dog.  We will miss her stories she shared.  I know besides her family she loved the students and coworkers at PHS and dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of others.  I was very fortunate to have met Lisa and I will never forget the years that we shared at PHS.  I am very sorry that we have suffered this loss.  I pray for comfort and peace for her family and all who knew Lisa.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Linda Johnston
