The annual Perkasie picking was a major event that we all looked forward to. Denny was a keystone of the event and much preparation was required. One of the events was a softball game. As a newbie to the event I was unaware of the details. The day arrived and I was happily enjoying the event. Denny approached me and requested that I start the baseball game. I barely new anyone. I had to corral everyone and start the game. Suddenly I was in the middle of the game, having a great time. Little did Denny know that I hated baseball. This started a tradition that Denny would ask me to start the game every year. After a few years I caught on and I asked someone to start the game! Those were great times and I'll cherish those memories forever. Denny was instrumental in many ways and I am forever greatful.
