Obituary for Jack K. Lippincott, Jr.

Jack K. Lippincott, Jr.
Jack K. Lippincott, Jr., of Dublin, passed away on Friday, October 3, in Doylestown Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Cathy A. (Schmell) Lippincott for 31 years. He was 56 years old.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Jack K., Sr. and Rosella (Schaible) Lippincott.

Mr. Lippincott had been employed with several local companies, including Gordon Auto Supply, of Pipersville, and in the construction field for the former A & M Construction and B & L Windows, both of Warminster.

Along with his wife, he had assisted with the roast beef dinners and holiday bazaars at the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company.

Jack loved tinkering with cars and lawn mowers. He had enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking and building model cars. He was always the first to offer help to anyone in need. He was a “true handy-man” to his friends and loved ones.

Jack loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also took very good care of his father-in-law, Kenneth Schmell, and his brother-in-law, Michael Schmell, when they both needed assistance.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Deborah L. Lippincott and her companion, Lou LaPalombara, of Levittown; Crystal A. Hessler and her husband, Ricky, of Warrington; Jack K. Lippincott III, of Dublin; three granddaughters, Ava, Desiree, and Isabella; a sister, Judy Farris, and her husband, Bill, of New Britain; a nephew, Jack A. Case, of Danboro; brothers-in law: Ted Case, of Danboro; Charles Schmell, and his wife, Janet, of Green Lane; Bob Schmell, and his wife, Cindy; and Chris Schmell, all of Sellersville.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Case; his in-laws, Kenneth and Caroline (Irwin) Schmell; and a brother-in-law, Michael Schmell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, in the Solid Rock Café, 156 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment will be conducted privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lippincott Family in care of Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
