Ronald L. Wise

Ronald L. Wise, of Sellersville, formerly of Perkasie, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 76.

He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Hufnagle) Wise.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Emory and Eleanor (Laverick) Wise. Ron was a graduate of Pennridge High School.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Wise served in Vietnam, earning multiple medals.

Ron had been employed for many years as a regional manager for the PA Liquor Control Board. He had also worked as a mechanic at McElhare’s Service Center, Sellersville and served as a custodian and transport driver for the Lutheran Community at Telford.

Ron was a life-long member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.

A lifetime member of the Sellersville Fire Department, Ron was also a member of the Forrest Lodge Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #245 and the Nase-Kraft American Legion Post 255, both of Sellersville.

Always a beach lover, especially enjoying family times at Ocean City, MD, Ron also liked to travel. His daughter remembers him as a pioneer in the field of “Bad Dad” jokes.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wise is survived by his two daughters: Kelly Moore and her husband, Earl and Holly Wise; four step-children: Jennifer Gorman and her husband, Bill, Chris Trumbore and his wife, Janet, Andrew Trumbore and his wife, Rose, and Allyson Trumbore and her husband, Lenny Heck; four grandchildren: Vanessa, Grayson, Marissa, and Andrea; three step-grandchildren: Marilyn, William, and Alex; and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three siblings: Kathy Groves and her husband, Daryl, Steve Wise and his wife, Linda, and Christine Brewer and her husband, Chip; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a brother, David Wise.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 25, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St., Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be private.
