John D. "Jack" Werst

John D. “Jack” Werst, of Allentown, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 3, 2013, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was 61.
Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of John P. Werst, of Perkasie, and Shirley M. (Heimbach) Werst Reiff, of Emmaus.
Jack was a graduate of Allen High School, Allentown.
An avid reader and artist, Jack also enjoyed music and researching genealogy.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Jill D. Brown, and her husband, Wesley, of Allentown; a nephew, Josh Brown, of Austin, Texas; and two nieces: Shelly Brown and Carly Brown, both of Allentown.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in South Perkasie Evangelical Cemetery, Perkasie.
