Grace M. Wenhold, formerly a long-time resident of Perkasie, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 2, in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was 94.

Born in Perkasie, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Florence C. (Gerhart) Wenhold.
Miss Wenhold had been employed as a bookkeeper for 28 years by Delbar Products, Inc., of Perkasie, retiring in 1985. Prior to that, she had worked on the production line at the former Perkasie Hosiery Silk Mill.
She was a life-long member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.
An avid reader, Grace also enjoyed walking, watching the Phillies, playing bingo, and sunbathing. She loved the yearly trips with her extended family to the New Jersey shore, especially Ocean City and Cape May. She also traveled extensively throughout the United States.
A devoted and generous aunt to her many nieces and nephews, she valued family and her faith above all else.
Miss Wenhold is survived by two nieces, three nephews, many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Wenhold and William W. “Bubs” Wenhold; three sisters, Pearl Moyer, Edna Hoff, and Beulah Taylor; and a niece, Sharon Kramer.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 9, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s U.C.C. Cemetery, Perkasie.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at the address above.
