Cindy L. "Sid" Wenhold-Dise, 55, of Sellersville, passed away Saturday, October 2, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, after being stricken suddenly at the home of her sister.
Born in West Rockhill Township, she was the daughter of Hiram B. Wenhold, of Sellersville, and the late Pauline (Schnure) Wenhold.
A 1973 graduate of Pennridge High School, Cindy later graduated from Bucks County Community College. She also had attended the Lutheran Deaconess Mother House of Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia.
She had been employed at PSG Industries and as a supervisor at Dudley Sports, both of Perkasie. She had also been employed at Ladie and Friends, Inc., Sellersville, and, most recently, by Pennridge School District as an aide on a special needs school bus. She had also owned and operated a car detailing business.
Cindy was a life-long member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie, where she had been a member of Luther League and the Trinity Girls softball team.
She was a member and past officer of the former Pennridge Jaycee-Ettes and was the local treasurer for PEASRS.
Sid enjoyed swimming and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to her father, Cindy is survived by her brothers: Barry L. Wenhold and Brian K. Wenhold, both of Sellersville; her sister, Cheryl L. Cassel, and her husband, Ralph W., of Sellersville; her nieces: Leigh Anne Wenhold, of Lake Harmony, Tami L. Barndt; Alyson Nelson, both of Sellersville; nephews: Chad M. Bishop, of Trumbauersville; Matthew S. Renner, of Perkasie; Jeremy S. Bishop, of Sellersville; Joseph Skriletz, of Coopersburg; Ralph R. Cassel, of Mt. Holly, NJ; Robert W. Cassel, of Sellersville; Jason Nelson, of Perkasie; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly A. Renner.
Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 7, at 11:30 AM in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 19 South Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where family and friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
Interment will be in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.
