Byron Roy Welser

Byron Roy Welser, of Quakertown, entered into rest Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 64.
Born in Stroudsburg, he was the beloved son of Eileen (Teel) Morykin of Plainfield Township and the late Roy Bernard Welser.
Byron was a longtime resident and friend of LifePath, Sellersville.
He had attended Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville. Most recently, he had attended St. Isidore Catholic Church, Quakertown.
Byron was a very social person. He knew many people, and he loved to hug them. He also loved to dance. Byron was a huge fan of Elvis and John Wayne. He also enjoyed all superheroes, especially Batman. His favorite foods were ice cream and Coca-Cola.
In addition to his mother, Byron is survived by two sisters: Claudia Hess and her husband, Kipp, of Northampton; Lynn Stevens and her husband, Brian, of Clayton, NC; two brothers: Scott L. Welser, and his wife, Mary, of Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Michael Morykin, and his wife, Stacy, of Pen Argyl; and three nephews: Ron Edelman, Derick Edelman, and Tim Welser.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 8, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifePath, 3500 High Point Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
