Donald "Whitey" Weisenborn, 70, a 17-year resident of Sellersville, formerly of Telford, passed away Sunday, January 10, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Rogers) Weisenborn for 48 years.
Born in Souderton, he was the son of the late Melvin and Mabel (Seachrist) Weisenborn.
He attended Souderton High School.
Mr. Weisenborn had been employed as a professional truck driver for 44 years, most recently at Landis Leasing, Souderton, until his retirement in 1999.
He was a member of St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Weisenborn is survived by his daughter, Debbie Weisenborn, Sellersville; precious granddaughter, Jenna Weisenborn, Sellersville; sister: Betty Reinbold and her husband, Leroy, Hellertown; brother, Robert Weisenborn, and his wife, Norell, Souderton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Weisenborn, Jr.; and two sisters: Elaine Wenhold and Shirley Riggins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 15, at 3:00 PM in St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 25 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call at the church Friday afternoon from 2:00 PM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address.
