Theresa A. Weidemoyer,76, of Perkasie, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 11, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the wife of Robert I. Weidemoyer, to whom she had been married for 54 years.
Born in West Wyoming (Luzerne County), she was the daughter of the late John and Winifred (Dennis) Laverick.
Mrs. Weidemoyer had been employed at the former Penn Pants, Sellersville and AEL, Montgomeryville before becoming an assembler at U. S. Gauge Division, Ametek Inc. for twenty-four years, retiring in 1997.
She was a member of the Auxiliary of the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255 and the Women of the Moose, Chapter 471, both of Sellersville.

Mrs. Weidemoyer was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she was a past-president of the Silver and Gold Club.
She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She also adored telling stories and playing games with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Weidemoyer is survived by her three children: Dennis D. Weidemoyer and his wife, Jane, Perkiomenville; Pamela M. Wulterkens and her husband, Ronald J., Silverdale; Robert J. Weidemoyer and his fiancée, Lenna Pacheco, Reading; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Colleen, Sarah, Maria, Molly, Victoria, Adam; one great-granddaughter, Claire Theresa, a sister, Eleanor Wise and her husband, Emory, Wyoming, PA; a brother, Richard E. Laverick and his wife , Marlene, Sellersville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Regina Stockert and Dorothy Ehly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 15, at 10: 00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville. Calling hours are Wednesday evening, May 14 from 7:00 -8:30 PM at the Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville and Thursday morning from 9: 00- 9:45 AM at the church. Interment will be in the adjacent parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
