Michael J. Weachter, 58, of Sellersville, passed away suddenly at Abington Health / Lansdale Hospital, Hatfield Township, on Tuesday, February 2.
Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of the late Robert Weachter and the late Doris (Grimes) Leister.
Mr. Weachter had served in the Army National Guard, Sellersville.
He had been employed for several years as a manufacturing supervisor with Laminators, Inc., Hatfield.
Michael loved riding his motorcycle and going deep sea fishing. He enjoyed bowling, dirt track stock car races, and football.
He is survived by his three children: Matthew M. Weachter, and his wife, Stephanie, of Quakertown; Nicolas J. Weachter, and his companion, Chrissy Nyvelt, of Doylestown; and Christina R. Weachter and her husband, Tyson W. Dean, of Limerick; two grandchildren: Maci and Ty Weachter, of Quakertown; a brother, Terry R. Weachter, and his wife, Lynn, of Quakertown; and a sister, Jane M. Ahlum, of Sellersville.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA. Family and friends may call Thursday morning at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM up until time of service.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations in his name be made to the charity of one’s choice.
