Lynn B. Weachter

Lynn B. Weachter, of Perkasie, formerly of West Rockhill Township, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. She was 67.

She was the beloved wife of the late Terrance R. “Terry” Weachter for 33 years until his death in 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Doris (Renner) Bartl. Lynn was a graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

Mrs. Weachter had been employed for 20 years as a staffing coordinator at the former North Penn Hospital, Lansdale.

She was of the Catholic faith.

A passionate beach lover, Lynn had enjoyed several island cruises and, especially, the annual Summer getaways to Ocean City with her children and grandchildren.

With a sharp tongue but a huge heart, Lynn was a force to be reckoned with. Her loyalty to family and friends guaranteed that you always wanted her in your corner. With a total devotion to her children and grandchildren, Lynn valued common sense, a strong work ethic, and intelligence.

Mrs. Weachter is survived by her son, Jarred Weachter and his wife, Julie, of Sellersville; her daughter, Shanan R. Smith, of Perkasie; five grandchildren, Abigail, Ethan, Jackson, Ashton, and Tristan; a brother, Layne Bartl, and his husband, James Kinney, of Florida; and a sister, Lysa Schmidt, and her husband, Daniel, of Harleysville.
