Anna M. Walls, 96, of Lansdale, formerly of Hatfield; Olney; and North Cape May, NJ, passed away Monday morning, October 29, 2012, in Dock Terrace of the Dock Woods Community, Lansdale. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Walls, who died in 1993.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the only daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen T. (McGuire) Roach.
She had been employed for many years as an office worker with the former Philco-Ford, of Horsham.
Anna had been a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown.
While living in North Cape May, she had volunteered as a bookkeeper at the Senior Citizens Center, in the Rio Grande section of the city.
Anna enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and traveling.
Mrs. Walls is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 8, in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rte. 152 & Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. There are no calling hours.
Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anna’s memory to Dock Woods Community, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446.
