Robert T. Tuttle, 73, a twenty-five year resident of Hilltown Township, passed away early Saturday morning, February 16 in Doylestown Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret C. (Weber) Tuttle for 53 years.
Born in Long Beach, California, he was a son of the late Floyd and Violet (Schroeder) Tuttle.
Mr. Tuttle was a career US Navy veteran, having served stateside during the Vietnam War. He retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer from Willow Grove Naval Air Station in 1975.
He was a thirty year life-member of the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, Dublin, where he served as a training officer and on the carnival committee. He had also been active with the Boy Scouts.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Tuttle is survived by his three children: Michael T. Tuttle and his wife, Pat, Quakertown; Janet L. Tuttle, Sellersville; Allen Tuttle and his wife, Candy, Silverdale; three granddaughters: Nicole Tuttle, Quakertown; Melinda Suder and her husband, Matthew, Perkasie; Melissa Tuttle, Silverdale; one brother: Guy Willison and two sisters: Starr Enriquez and her husband, Carl; and Marion Scofield, all of California.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to Dublin Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 283, Dublin, PA 18917.
