Frances A. "Franny" Tedeschi, 73, of Perkasie, formerly of Philadelphia, Hilltown, and Vero Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Herman Tedeschi, who died in 1980.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Kane) Hatter. Franny was a 1954 graduate of J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School, Philadelphia.
Mrs. Tedeschi was a homemaker most of her life, as well as a Tour Business Owner/Operator.
She was a member of the Auxiliary of the American Legion.
Mrs. Tedeschi enjoyed gardening, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She was also a cat lover.
Franny is survived by her son: Frank M. Tedeschi and his wife, Denise J., of Perkasie; two grandsons: Brian Michael Tedeschi; William Robert Tedeschi, both of Philadelphia; two step-grandchildren: Christopher Rosanelli, of Vernfield; Jennifer Rosanelli, of Souderton; a step-great-grandson, Braeden Saylor, of Souderton; three brothers: William Hatter and his wife, Judith, of Villas, NJ; Edward Hatter and his wife, Janie, of Upper Southampton; Michael Hatter and his wife, Ida, of Sellersville; and a sister, Patricia Costello, Vero Beach, FL.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Interment will be held privately in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Mrs. Tedeschi’s name be made to Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Road, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
