Bohdannus "Dennis" Strus

Bohdannus “Dennis” Strus, of East Greenville, formerly of Sellersville, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at his residence. He was 69.
Born in Lubeck, Germany, he was the son of the late Michael, Sr. and Mary (Kurylak) Strus. The family came to the United States in 1949.
Mr. Strus had been employed for many years as a night manager for 7-11 in North Wales, retiring in 2008.
Dennis had been a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville. He had also been a member of the Sellersville Fire Department.
A simple man, Dennis enjoyed watching football and spending time with his family.
Mr. Strus is survived by his children: Tina Horger and her husband, Timothy, of Bensalem; Maryjean Sell and her husband, Jeffrey, of East Greenville; Lisa Yeager and her husband, Jeff, of Macungie; Jay Strus and his wife, Heidi, of Palm Bay, Florida and their children; grandchildren: Rachel and Timmy-John Horger; Megan, Zachary and Jaquelyne Sell; Christal, Carri, and Levi Yeager; and two great-grandchildren, Llayda and Calvin.
He is also survived by his siblings, William B. Strus and his wife, Mary, of Clayton, New Jersey; Stephen M. Strus and his wife, Pat, of Ambler; Michael J. Strus, Jr., of Pennsburg; and his former wife, MaryAnn Forcinie, of Macungie.
His memorial service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 10, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will take place from 10 am until time of service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Ste. 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422 or Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
