John R. Strockbine, Jr.

September 15, 1947 — February 21, 2016

John R. Strockbine, Jr., of Sellersville, entered into Eternal life on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Keystone Hospice, Glenside. He was 68.

He was the beloved husband of Mary (Corcoran) Strockbine for 44 years.

Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John R., Sr. and Angelina (Larocca) Strockbine.

Mr. Strockbine was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

John had been employed as a purchasing agent for 15 years at Accu-Sort Systems Inc., Telford, retiring in 2014. He had previously been employed for five years at Fres-Co System USA Inc., also of Telford. Following his retirement, he had worked part-time in the paint department of Lowe’s, Hatfield.

He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.

Besides his wife, there are no other immediate survivors.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Mar. 1, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main St., Sellersville. There will be no visitation.

A private interment will be conducted at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Strockbine’s memory may be made to Keystone Hospice, 8765 Stenton Avenue, Glenside, PA 19038.
