James Daniel Stewart

James Daniel Stewart, of Telford, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was 74.
He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Vogel) Stewart for 54 years until her death in 2021.
Born in Buckingham, he was the son of the late Grady E. and Vida G. (Palk) Stewart. Jim had attended Pennridge High School.
Employed in the swimming pool industry for his entire professional life, Jim had worked for Sylvan, Carlton, Norris, and Pioneer Pools before owning and operating his own company, Poole-Crete.
Jim was a member of the VFW Forrest Lodge Post #245, of Sellersville, and the Perkasie Owls Club, Nest 1224.
A boxing enthusiast, Jim had also enjoyed hot rod cars and motorcycles. He had also maintained beautiful rose bushes and gardens at his home and spent his “off” hours watching scary movies. He most loved time spent with his grandchildren.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Stewart, and her partner, Brian Teichman, of Telford; two grandsons: Shane Stewart and Jesse Moyer; a great-grandson, Casey Shisler; and a brother, Grady “Butch” Stewart, and his husband, William Potts.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son, James E. “Jamie” Stewart, in 2012.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, from 2-6 pm at the Perkasie Owls Club, 602 Elm Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944. All are welcome to attend.
