Blanche A. Stellabott, 78, of Hilltown, went home on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, while surrounded by her loving family, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown Township. She was the wife of the late Louis J. "Bucky" Stellabott, who died in 1996.
Born in Gardenville, she was the daughter of the late Fred, Jr., and Luella (Miller) Long.
Mrs. Stellabott had worked for many years at Stan Cassel Greenhouses, Chalfont, but was primarily a homemaker.
She was a long-time member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Hilltown.
An avid gardener, Blanche also enjoyed baking, walking in the park, and word puzzles.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise J. Tedeschi, and her husband, Frank, of Perkasie; two sons: Michael A. Stellabott, and his wife, Joyce, of Perkasie; and Steven P. Stellabott, and his wife, Karen, of Perkasie; six grandchildren: Christopher Rosanelli, Jennifer Rosanelli, Emily Stellabott, Hannah Stellabott, Heather Stellabott, and Mindy Stellabott; a great-grandson, Braeden Saylor; a brother, Richard Long, and his wife, Jean, of Danboro; a sister, Betty German, and her husband, Albert, of Sellersville; and her cat, "Taffy."
In addition to her husband, Blanche was preceded in death by her companion, Jules C. "J.C." Tanghe; a sister, Ester Kasak; and a beloved dog, "Brandy."
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Route 152 and Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927. Family and friends may call Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Interment will be conducted in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish cemetery, Hilltown.
