Michael Dennis Spillane, 57, a 17-year resident of Sellersville, formerly of Roslyn and Warminster, passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2009, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was the husband of Kymberly Ann (Shearer) Spillane. They were married 22 years.
Born in Abington, he was the son of the late John James and Jeanne Spillane.
He was employed as a quality control inspector for several local engineering and manufacturing firms. Michael was a member of the United Auto Workers (UAW) Union.
Mr. Spillane was a Catholic. He was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children: Matthew Daniel Spillane; Jade Marie Spillane; Joseph Michael Spillane, all of Sellersville; and Michael Dennis Spillane, Jr., of Ambler; three brothers: John J. Spillane, Jr., of Warminster; Gary T. Spillane, of Florida; and Mark Spillane, of Ambler; one sister, Carol Ann Giles, of Florida; and two grandsons: Wyatt and Logan.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held at the family's home. Guests will be received at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 112 East Park Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
