Donald Matthew Simpson, 32, of Sellersville, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 26, 2009.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Judy (Kophazy) Kostenbauder, Sellersville.

Donald had been employed as a roofer. An avid hunter and fisherman, he worshipped the outdoors.

He was a member of the American Legion Nase-Kraft Post 255, Sellersville; the VFW Forrest Lodge Post 245, West Rockhill Township; and the North Penn Gun Club, Trumbauersville.

In addition to his mother, Donald is survived by his three brothers, who were his best friends: Brian M. Simpson; Jeremy D. Kostenbauder, both of Sellersville; and Adam L. Kostenbauder, of Richlandtown; two sisters-in-law: Jessica Creeden, of Sellersville; and Amanda Childs, of Richlandtown; and his grandparents: Harold and Joyce Miller, of Sellersville. He truly loved and adored his niece, Gracie Mae Simpson, and two nephews: Jaden and Kaleb Kostenbauder. He is also survived by his friend, Allison Professori, of Sellersville, who was the love of his life. Donald will be missed dearly by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, David L. Kostenbauder.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday evening, July 1, 2009, at 7:00 PM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home at the above address.
