Carolyn P. Shaffer

Carolyn P. Shaffer, of Quakertown, formerly of Sellersville, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, in Quakertown Center. She was 87.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ray B. Shaffer for 55 years until his death in 2008.
Born in Bedminster, she was the daughter of the late James and Cora (Bader) Miller.
Although primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Shaffer had been employed as a house cleaner.
A meticulous housekeeper and also a talented cook and baker, Mrs. Shaffer prepared delicious from-scratch desserts every Sunday morning to delight her entire family. Carolyn was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She especially enjoyed weekends spent at the family cabin in the Poconos.
A private woman, Carolyn’s life centered on her home and family, her greatest joys.
Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her two sons: Gerald R. Shaffer, of Perkasie, and Garry L. Shaffer, of Quakertown; a granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Shaffer; a brother, Robert Miller; and a sister, Linda Statuti.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by many siblings.
There will be no services.
