Mary E. Sell

Mary E. Sell, of Sellersville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was 82.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Sell for 53 years until his death in 2008.
Born in Perkasie, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Florence (Fehr) Knitter.
A homemaker for most of her life, Mary had also worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Royal Pants Manufacturing Company, Perkasie.
Mrs. Sell was a long-time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she had been active with the Silver and Gold Club and had volunteered with the annual Christmas Bazaar.
Mary had enjoyed going on casino trips to Atlantic City.
Mrs. Sell is survived by her daughter, Carla M. Sell, of Sellersville; a son, Steven J. Sell, and his wife, Rebecca, of Telford; three grandchildren, Bryanna, Joey, and Lucas; a brother, Lawrence Knitter and his wife, Mary, of Coopersburg; and two sisters, Jacqueline Hodges and her husband, Ed, of Erie, and Carol Labagh and her husband, Robert, of Gillett, PA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Knitter, and two sisters, Shirley Welch and Margaret Fadule.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
