Winston M. Sealey

Winston Michael Sealey, 83, of Perkasie, PA, formerly of Highlands Ranch, CO, Fairfield, OH, and Brooklyn, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township, PA.

He was the beloved husband of the late Helen F. (Lord) Sealey for 44 years until her death in 2007.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies, he was the son of the late Andrew and Winifred (Laurence) Sealey.

Winston migrated to the United States in 1967.

Winston had a tenured career at Merrill Lynch, starting in Manhattan, NY and then transferring to manage a branch office in Blue Ash, OH. Afterwards, he relocated to Meridian, CO, where he worked as the regional manager for Western Client Services. He finished his career in Pennington, NJ as the Vice-President of Risk and Credit Control, retiring in 2005.

Mr. Sealey was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where he was active with the Knights of Columbus.

Always an avid cricket enthusiast, Winston also cheered for the home sports team of any city he lived in, whether the New York Jets or the Philadelphia Eagles. He loved cooking, gardening, listening to music, entertaining friends and family, and traveling. He especially enjoyed fishing with his son Sean. Another favorite activity were his weekly breakfasts with his R.O.M.E.O. friends (Retired Old Men Eating Out).

Winston was a mentor who was always willing to give advice and guidance to anyone who needed it. He also had a special bond with his in- laws, the Lord sisters and brothers

Mr. Sealey is survived by his beloved children: Garfield Sealey, of Cliffwood, NJ, LuAnn Sealey, of Perkasie, PA, Petal Young and her husband, Anthony, of Aurora, CO, Sean Sealey, of Perkasie, PA, and Kimberly Sealey, of Pottstown, PA. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Colin, Trevor, Meeshyelle, Justin, and Jordan; and six siblings and their spouses: Joanne Laurence and Ricky Simon Oliver, Alwin and Jennifer Sealey, Nicholas Laurence, Terry Laurence, Gerald Laurence, and Lieba Laurence, all of Trinidad.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Colin Sealey, in 1977, and three sisters: Phyllis Lalla, Babsie Laurence, and Margare Laurence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Wednesday, August 30, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 PM.

Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
