Rose Marie Scalzo

Rose Marie Scalzo, of Sellersville, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and New Jersey, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington. She was 98.

She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo J. Scalzo for 50 years until his death in 2000.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mae (Castella) Marcianti.

Mrs. Scalzo was a homemaker.

Rose Marie had enjoyed cooking for her family, especially favorite Italian foods. A pet lover, she had cherished her many dogs. She loved watching vintage classic movies, in particular, the great Hollywood musicals. More recently, she had enjoyed reading books on her Kindle.

Mrs. Scalzo is survived by her son, Dean Richard Scalzo, of Sellersville; a brother, Joseph Marcianti, and his wife, Ursula; three nieces: Mary Ortiz, Andrea Grandinetti, and Donna Richardson; and two cousins: Joan Palucci and Gloria Corneliess.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private.

The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Scalzo’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
