Anne E. Rutherford

Anne E. Rutherford, formerly of Sellersville and Hilltown, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020, in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown. She was 88.
She was the wife of the late Russell P. Rutherford, who died in 1974.
Born in Horsham, she was the daughter of the late Albert E., Sr. and Mary Elizabeth D. Fillman. She was a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School.
Mrs. Rutherford had been employed as a waitress at the R & S Keystone Restaurant, Telford for 40 years.
Mrs. Rutherford is survived by her three daughters, Karen Funk, of Macungie, Barbara J. Scholter and her husband, Charles Cooper, of Philadelphia, and Joyce Ziegler, of Macungie; six grandchildren, Kenny, Kyle, Kirk, Amy, Alex, and Tyler; and four great-grandchildren, Owen, Tyler, Morgan, and Courtney.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Rutherford, in 2015.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, July 30, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
