Jill Ann Ritter

Jill Ann Ritter, of Harleysville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was 71.

Born in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Colleen (Groh) Denslow. Jill was a 1970 graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Doylestown.

Jill had been employed as a quality control technician for various local manufacturers.

She was a former member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.

An avid card player, Jill also enjoyed spending time with her friends. She loved celebrating and decorating for the holidays, when her artistic, creative talents could really be showcased. Jill particularly enjoyed watching scary movies and sporting events with her grandchildren.

A generous woman, always ready to share whatever she had to help others, Jill was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. She also never hesitated to share her opinions.

She is survived by her three children: Gregory H. Bennett and his wife, Nikki, Nicole T. (Bennett) Smith and her husband, Jesse, and Thomas J. Shell; six grandchildren: Megan, Taylor, Gregory, Chloe, Oliver, and Bennett; three great-grandchildren: O’Ryan, Ona, and Owen; and a sister, Laurie Axline.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin, Jack Denslow, and three other brothers: Timothy, Mark, and Daniel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, Saturday, February 4, in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
