Elsie Roberta Richardson, of Warrington, formerly of Fountainville, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at her residence in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington. She was 78.
Born in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Isabel (Mapp) Richardson. Elsie was a 1959 graduate of Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, having earned a Bachelor degree in Bacteriology.
She was a homemaker.
Elsie had been a member of Hilltown Baptist Church.
An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Elsie also enjoyed watching television, especially “Gunsmoke” and “Law and Order.” She especially was a fan of Jerry Orbach. Elsie also liked the music of Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.
Elsie is survived by her son, Maurice E. Clark, Jr., of Fountainville, and many close friends and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Cynthia Diane Clark and Crystal Allison Clark, and her former husband, Lt. Commander Maurice E. Clark, Sr., USN (Retired).
All are invited to her entombment service at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016, in the Perkasie Mausoleum, 16 S. 9th St., Perkasie, PA 18944.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help defray expenses may be made payable to Maurice E. Clark, Jr. in care of the Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.
