Valentina Rhodes

January 3, 1952 — November 18, 2017

Valentina Rhodes, of Sellersville, formerly of Hatfield, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her residence. She was 65.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Lydia (Zybrick) Tichy.

Valentina had worked as a legal secretary for many years.

She was a member of St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church, Glen Mills.

Valentina enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Most of all, she was known for how caring and loving she was to everyone she knew.

She will be remembered by her two children, Sarah Rhodes, of Souderton, and Jonathan, of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren, Alexa and Evie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Tichy.

Her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Saint Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church, 1855 Middletown Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342, where a visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

Interment will be held privately in St. Tikhon of Zadonsk Monastery Cemetery, Waymart, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
