Myrna C. Reppert

Myrna C. Reppert, 90, formerly of Woodbury, NJ, passed away peacefully Monday, August 9, 2021, at The Shores, United Methodist Assisted Living Community, Ocean City, NJ.
She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Reppert for 61 years until his death in 2012.
Born in Sellersville, PA, Myrna was the daughter of Wilmer B. and Clara R. (Barndt) Witmer. Myrna was a 1948 graduate of Sell-Perk High School.
Although Myrna had resided in New Jersey for most of her life (in Cape May County for the last three years, maintaining her own home with her cat, “Pudders” until a few months ago), her heart and faith was always in Bucks County, PA. She always looked forward to her next trip “back home to Bucks County.” A life-long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville, she was married there in 1950 and will now be laid to rest there with her late husband Bill.
Mrs. Reppert was a homemaker who had delighted in the loving care of her family, spending countless hours in her kitchen canning and baking. She had also enjoyed taking long walks, reading, and gardening. Her greatest joy was always to be found in time spent with her family.
A kind, gentle woman, Myrna will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.
Mrs. Reppert is survived by her two daughters, Donna Parsons (Dan) and Joanne Batten (Vince); a granddaughter, Danielle Parsons-Hope (Justin); and a great-grandson, Andrew Hope.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Merwin Witmer.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at The Shores, United Methodist Assisted Living Community. Heartfelt thanks also to Angelic Hospice Care, especially Tiffany, whose compassionate care for Myrna during her final days was so extraordinary.
Services are private at the request of the family. Public graveside services will be held at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, in St. John’s Lutheran (Ridge Valley) Cemetery, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Myrna’s name may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
