Thomas M. Reckner, of Lansdale, formerly of Hilltown Township, passed away Tuesday morning, October 2, in ManorCare Health Services, Montgomeryville. He was 55.
Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of Mary T. (Ruland) Reckner, Lansdale and the late William J. Reckner. He was a graduate of Pennridge High School.
Tom was of the Catholic faith. He had been employed in the maintenance department of St. Mary’s Manor, Lansdale.
He was an avid collector of 1950’s music and was a wrestling fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Beverlie Zukow, and her husband, Lyle Morrison, of Villa Park, California; one niece, Tonya Busch and her husband, Michael, of Anaheim Hills, California; one nephew, Ryan Zukow of Newport Beach, California; two grand-nieces and a grand nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of St. Mary’s Manor, 701 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. Family and friends are invited to call Friday morning in the Chapel of St. Mary’s from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hilltown.
