Mary T. (Ruland) Reckner

June 20, 1927 — March 28, 2010

Mary T. Reckner, 82, of Lansdale, a former long-time resident of Hilltown Township, passed away Sunday morning, March 28, at her residence in St. Mary Manor, Lansdale. She was the wife of the late William J. Reckner, who died in 2003.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Doyle) Ruland.

Mary was a successful Avon representative and had been ranked in the Top 100 Sales for over 20 years. She had also worked as a dispatcher for Faulkner Ford, Quakertown.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Hilltown.

Mary was an avid bingo player at the Knights of Columbus, Lansdale. She also was active in selling fundraising raffle tickets for the Knights of Columbus and St. Mary Manor. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family and many friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverlie Zukow, and her husband, Lyle Morrison, of Villa Park, California; one granddaughter, Tonya Busch, and her husband, Michael, of Anaheim Hills, California; one grandson, Ryan Zukow, of Newport Beach, California; two great-granddaughters: Alexandra and Jillian; one great-grandson, Garrett; and one sister, Dolores Springsteen, Hatboro.

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Thomas M. Reckner, who died in 2007; a brother, William Ruland, and a sister, Shirley Gamauf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 5, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of St. Mary Manor, 701 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. Family and friends are invited to call Monday morning in the Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish cemetery, Hilltown.
