Joyce M. (Karcher) Rauch

Joyce M. Rauch, 53, of Sellersville, formerly of Quakertown, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was the beloved wife of Bradley F. Rauch for eight years.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of Julia (Welch) Karcher, of Sellersville, and the late James F. Karcher. Joyce was a 1978 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

She had been employed for over 20 years at Dräger, of Telford. Most recently, she had worked at Prodesco, Perkasie, until retiring due to illness.

She was a member of the Perkasie Owls.

Joyce loved camping, snowmobiling in the Adirondacks, and trips to Wildwood Beach.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by two daughters: Amie L. Nessa, of Bethlehem; Damie S. Rauch, of Sellersville; two grandchildren: Joseph Ramos; Cierra Ramos; four brothers: James Karcher and his wife, Barbara, of Sellersville; Edward Karcher and his wife, Mindy, of Lancaster; Michael Karcher, of Lansdale; Patrick Karcher and his wife, Rosalie, of Quakertown; her mother-in-law, Joan Rauch, of Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, “Kira.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 24, at 10: 00 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Friends may call Monday evening, July 23, at the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville from 5:30 to 8:30 PM and at the church Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until 9: 45 AM.

Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township.
