Stephen Poust, of Sellersville, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was 52.
He was the beloved husband of Katie (Nemec) Poust.
Born in Philadelphia, Steve was the son of Barbara (Mitchell) Poust, of Perkasie, and the late William T. Poust, Jr.
Steve had spent many years in the commercial construction industry, where his passion and knowledge ultimately led to his owning his own business. He had also recently become associated with Gordon H. Baver Inc., of Pennsburg.
An avid sports fan, Steve had particularly loved watching and attending Philadelphia Phillies and Sixers and Dallas Cowboys games. Steve lived life to the fullest, enjoying memorable trips to Maine, Florida, Las Vegas, Ocean City, Maryland, and the Poconos.
Time spent with his children brought Steve the greatest joy, and a wealth of wonderful memories of those events hearten the family.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his two most adored children, Joseph and Meredith, of Sellersville; his three siblings: Donna Heil and her husband, Keith, William T. Poust III and his wife, Tammy, and Mark Poust; his in-laws, Betty and Gary Nemec, and countless friends and extended family members.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lauren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Stephen’s name may be made to TD Bank, Poust Children Fund, 499 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.
