Eileen Elizabeth Pontes

Eileen Elizabeth Pontes, 31, of Quakertown, formerly of Perkasie, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, November 1, 2012.

Born in West Rockhill Township, she was the daughter of John and Jane (Finley) Pontes, of Sellersville. She had attended Pennridge High School.

Eileen had been employed as a popular bartender/waitress at The Perk. Previously, she had also worked at several other local eateries, including O’Grady’s, of Souderton, and TGIF, of Quakertown.

Caring and big-hearted, Eileen enjoyed reading and photography. Always the life of the party and known for her contagious laughter, she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and, most especially, with her beloved daughter. Great with children, she was a loving, devoted mother.

In addition to her parents, Eileen is survived by her daughter, Dominique Hagey, of Quakertown; three sisters: Colleen Ryan, of Sellersville; Maureen Ryan, of Allentown; Laureen Ryan, of Sellersville; a brother, Nuno Pontes, of Lisbon, Portugal; and two nephews: Ryan Eyre, of Fort Myers, Florida; and Nicholas Eyre, of Quakertown.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Ryan, in 2010.

Her Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Sellersville Fire Department, 2 North Main Street, Sellersville 18960. Family and friends may call at the firehouse from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday morning.

Interment will be in Sellersville Cemetery, Sellersville.
