Marianne L. Perlini

March 27, 1944 — July 12, 2022

Marianne Linda Perlini, of Quakertown, formerly of Perkasie and Warminster, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was 78.

She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Gannon Perlini, Sr. for 29 ½ years until his death in 1991.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A., Sr. and Frances (Heil) Schultz. Marianne was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School, Philadelphia.

Although primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Perlini had also worked for 10 years in the Medical Records Department of Urological Associates of Abington.

A decades-long active member of the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Warminster, Marianne had most recently been a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown Township, for 12 years.

Mrs. Perlini was a volunteer homeroom mother when her children were young and had also worked in the library at Longstreth Elementary School and coached for the Warminster Girls Softball Association.

After the tragic passing of her husband, Marianne’s great faith sustained her, and she dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, instilling in them a strong spirituality.

A talented cook and baker, Marianne had loved to prepare all the family favorites, including roast beef, German noodles, pasta, and chicken. She also loved sewing, painting, reading, and doing word searches.

Remembered by one of her beloved granddaughters as a “remarkable woman who brought love and happiness to so many… Marianne will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren on her journey home.”

Mrs. Perlini is survived by her three children: Marianne Tagye and her husband, Stephen, of Doylestown, Christine Perlini-Ellis and her husband, Steven Ellis, of Quakertown, and Alfred Perlini, Jr. and his wife, Angela, of Dublin; 10 grandchildren: Christine, Alicia, Steven, Jenna, Nicole, Marcella, Gannon, Ally, Julia, and Patrick; and a sister, Frances Mann.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Schultz, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 21, in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA 18927, where a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to time of service.

Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
