Anna Marie Peart, 70, a six-year resident of Lower Macungie Township, formerly of Bally, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
She was the beloved wife of Ray R. Peart for 38 years.
Born in West Rockhill Township, she was the daughter of the late Angelo A. and Angelina (Marino) Pizza.
Mrs. Peart had been employed for 20 years at the former Sun-Lite Shops, Souderton. Following that, for 15 years, she was the manager of the shoe department for Ames Department Store, Pennsburg. Ann had most recently been employed in the customer service department at Parmalat Dairies, Royersford, retiring in 1999.
She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Peart was a former Girl Scout leader.
She loved to entertain and decorate cakes. Ann also enjoyed shopping, traveling, and going to casinos. A "people person," she possessed a great sense of humor.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Peart is survived by her two children: Scott T. Peart and his wife, Tracy L., of East Greenville; Lisa A. Peart and her fiancé, Ron Comas, of Pottstown; three grandchildren: Morgan, Glenn, and Gavin; two sisters: Mildred Seachrist and her husband, Fred, of Souderton; Patricia Hoffman and her husband, Scott, of Harleysville; three brothers: Charles Pizza and his wife, Marie, of Telford; Kenneth Pizza, of Perkasie; Theodore Pizza, of Alburtis; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, "Griffin."
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Guy Ireland, and a brother, Angelo M. Pizza.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Thursday evening, March 3, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM or Friday morning, from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.
