Charles Kevin Parker, 50, a lifelong resident of the Pennridge area, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, June 7, at Mercy Suburban Hospital, East Norriton Township, PA.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Ann (Meier) Parker, Perkasie, and the late Robert Lee Parker.
Charles was a 1976 graduate of Pennridge High School.
He was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville.
Charles enjoyed fly fishing. He was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, but he especially loved the Eagles and the Phillies. A loving uncle, he also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He was affectionately known as “The Mayor” by close friends and family and was beloved for his tremendous sense of humor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers: Robert J. Parker and his wife, Laurie Ann, New Orleans, LA; James R. Parker and his wife, Bridget, Brooklyn, NY; one sister: Barbara Monagle and her husband, Gerald, Marana, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Parker, who died January 13, 2008.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
