Linda Ann Overholt, of Hilltown Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown. She was 62.
She was the beloved wife of Michael (Jacob) Overholt for 36 years.
Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Kathryn (Royer) Ketterer.
Linda was a graduate of Pennridge High School, Class of 1981, and the Lansdale School of Business.
Mrs. Overholt had been employed for 41 years as the payroll supervisor by LifePath, Inc., in Bethlehem.
A lifelong member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Perkasie, Linda had sung in the choir and taught Sunday school.
Linda was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Perkasie Fire Company and the National Payroll Association.
Linda and Michael were seasonal campers at Ringing Rocks Family Campground, Upper Black Eddy, where they made many lasting friendships. She also enjoyed going to craft shows, trips to Lancaster, and her annual Christmas cookie baking extravaganza.
A loving godmother to several of her great-nieces and nephews, she most loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four siblings: Jacquelyn Gebhard, of Coopersburg, Dennis Ketterer, of Perkasie, Robin Wojcik and her husband Frank, of Rieglesville, and Barry Ketterer and his wife Deanna, of Sellersville. She is also survived by a sister- in- law, Debbie Schwartz, and her husband Russell, of Quakertown.
Linda is also remembered by 19 nieces and nephews; 18 great- nieces and nephews; two great- great nephews; several aunts; many cousins and friends; and her Campground family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael, her brother- in -law, Theodore Gebhard, and her nephews, Joseph Westdyke and Cody Schwartz.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 18, in St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20 Dill Avenue, Perkasie, PA 18944, where a viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will follow in Sellersville Cemetery.
