Grace M. (Miller) Nyce
June 23, 1921 — June 21, 2010
Grace M. Nyce, 88, formerly of Sellersville and Perkasie, went Home to be with the Lord Monday, June 21, 2010, in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. She was the wife of the late Charles K. Nyce, Sr., who died in 1990.
Born in Forks Township (Northampton County), she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen B. (Hess) Miller. Grace graduated from Easton High School. She was a member of the 4-H Club.
A seamstress, Mrs. Nyce was employed at the former Sun-Lite Shops, Souderton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, East Rockhill Township.
Mrs. Nyce is survived by her three children: Lynda Hicks, of Ephrata; Sandra L. Nolen, of Souderton; Charles K. Nyce, Jr., of Willow Spring, NC; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Sandi, and her husband, Joseph, of Linden, NJ; and a brother, Robert Loomis, and his wife, Carol, of Pottstown.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Damian Antonacci.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 2, at 10:30 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville. Family and friends may call Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until time of service.
Interment will follow in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Perkasie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.
