Arlene Nolfi

Arlene Nolfi, of Sellersville, formerly of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Edward Nolfi for 26 years. She was 64.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Ruth (Kunze) Dahling.

Arlene had been employed for 30 years by the United States Justice Department, both in Philadelphia and Florida. She had also owned and operated her own beauty salon and served as a senior hair instructor for cosmetology students.

An avid gardener, Arlene also enjoyed cooking and arts and crafts projects.

Her tireless spirit and loving, devoted care were most evident in the joy she found as a mother and grandmother. She always put everyone before herself.

Due to her unbelievable dedication and love for her job, she worked up to the very end, never giving up hope.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kellie Marshall, and her husband, Daniel, of Sellersville; her son, Robert F. Kuehne, of Sellersville; her grandson, Zachary Marshall, of Sellersville; a sister, Sharan Havel, of Wrightstown; a niece, Alexandra Smith, and her husband, Matthew, of Arvada, Colorado; and her dogs, “Ben” and “Daisy.”

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960, where a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Checks should be made payable to Fox Chase Cancer Center, with the memo noting Lung Cancer Research. Contributions may also be sent to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
