Annie M. (Scholl) Neubert

April 23, 1923 — December 9, 2009

Annie Marie Neubert, 86, a lifelong resident of Quakertown, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 9, 2009, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Neubert, who died in 2001.

Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Harris) Scholl.

Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Neubert had been employed as an aide at Quakertown Hospital and also as a cafeteria worker in the Quakertown School District.

Annie was a longtime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quakertown.

A talented artist, she loved to paint and do ceramics. She had also enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Mrs. Neubert is survived by her nephews: Asher D. "Jack" Wambold, Jr., and his wife, Betty, of Sellersville; Scott Wambold, and his wife, Tracey, of Sellersville; niece, Dorie Furness, and her husband, Fred, of Quakertown; her aunt, Evelyn Beck, of Quakertown; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy M. "Dolly" Wambold.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning, December 12, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Interment will be in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Almont, West Rockhill Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA 18951.
